Rotavator (Rotary Tiller)

Tractor-mounted rotary tiller for primary and secondary tillage—pulverizes soil, mixes residues, and prepares a fine seedbed in one pass.

Overview

The Rotavator is a rugged PTO-driven implement that uses a horizontal rotor fitted with L/C-type blades to
break clods, incorporate crop residues, and level the field. It reduces the number of field operations,
saves fuel, and helps retain soil moisture. Suitable for vegetables, cereals, orchards, vineyards,
sugarcane, cotton, and general field preparation on light to heavy soils.

Key Features

  • Heavy-duty rotor balanced for low vibration and longer bearing life.
  • Multiple blade options (L/C) for different soil textures and residue conditions.
  • Side drive with oil-immersed gearbox or reinforced chain case for reliable torque transfer.
  • Adjustable depth control via side skids and rear hood for a uniform seedbed.
  • Spring-loaded rear hood helps soil pulverization and clod breaking.
  • Slip clutch / shear bolt PTO protection to safeguard tractor and implement.
  • Three-point hitch (Cat I/II) with floating top link for optimal ground contouring.
  • Low maintenance sealed bearings and grease points positioned for easy access.

Applications

Seedbed finishing • Incorporating stubble/manure • Orchard and vineyard inter-row tillage •
Puddling (with kit) for paddy • Weed control and soil aeration • Land leveling (light).

Benefits

  • Fewer passes: Primary + secondary tillage combined.
  • Fuel & time savings: Reduced tractor hours per acre.
  • Better germination: Fine tilth and improved seed–soil contact.
  • Residue management: Chops and mixes stubble uniformly into the soil.
